Contradictory. This giant dining hall is shrinking And I'm feeling fiercely faint. It's full of people, yet I'm quite alone.Contradictory.
Words fall on deaf ears, Bright eyes see nothing, Lips move with no sound.
I simply give a complex excuse And exit that full void, To quickly meander these
Loudly silent halls.
I walk purposefully for no reason, Presently appearing outside. A flower garden- Full of withered blooms.
Upon a spiritful stone bench Sits a familiar stranger.
A quiet exclamation to himself For my benefit: "You're a l

I push open the screen door and step out to the porch. My arms immediately wrap around the flimsy t-shirt I've got on, and my bare feet ice over on the cold concrete. I walk to the edge of the stoop and stop, not in the rain, merely the mist of it. Silently I stand, soaking up everything around me, observing. The only light is the dying streetlamp a few houses away, the only sound is that of the steady rainfall.

You walk past me, silent.
I'm angry at you.
You open the closet door, silent.
Don't shut me out, I have to talk to you.
You reach for the vacuum, silent.
Don't do this to me.
You switch on the vacuum, silent.
Stop it. You won't hear me.
You vacuum up dust and dirt, silent.
WHY WON'T YOU LISTEN TO ME?
You switch off the vacuum, silent.
You still don't hear me.
Silence.

Aren't you going to come along?
Aren't you going to fight?
Aren't you going to hold your hands up to the light?
If you feel an emptiness, if you want to hide
Think about the blood that's pumping keeping you alive
